Our Expeditions
Our vision
Scientific tourism and astrotourism
We promote the enhancement of the “sky” resource as a sustainable alternative for the socio-productive development of the Ampimpa area, which has ideal characteristics as a destination for Astronomical Tourism: Clear skies, little rainfall, low population density, as well as low Light pollution.
An open window to the universe
Our infrastructure was designed with the purpose of developing and disseminating astronomy and science. For many years all types of audiences have visited us: children, young people and adults who have enjoyed and learned from our teaching.
More than 35 years under the same sky
We reinforce and consolidate the position of the Ampimpa Observatory as a reference educational center in science and astronomy in Argentina. Through educational activities we achieve continuous improvement in scientific teaching and dissemination, as well as in its regional impact over many years of history and experience.
Modern instrumental
We have instruments of the highest quality and specialization to be able to carry out any of our activities. Our instruments are the most modern in the region. Furthermore, we are constantly striving to improve them.

"I am part of heaven in which events are transcendental. They pass through us and realize the communion that exists in our lives and connects us between us, heaven and earth. Only gratitude for that moment!"
"I was there in January 2022 and I was shocked by the beauty and tranquility of the place and even more so by the talks and observations. I only have gratitude for all the staff who assisted us with their hospitality and attention to details. So recommended that I will return"
